Doctoral Candidate at the Competence Centre for Top Teams (m/f/d)

Kern- und Hauptaufgaben

  • You will work closely with the Competence Centre for Top Teams (CCTT) at the Institute for International Management.

  • You will conduct research as part of your PhD thesis supervised by Prof. Dr. Winfried Ruigrok in the area of high-performance teams. An overview of his career and academic work can be found under the linked pages.

  • You should be passionate about investigating critical dimensions and drivers of high-performance teams as well as team leadership.

  • Furthermore, you will support business development and consulting work with corporate clients.

  • You will also support Prof. Dr. Ruigrok and Dr. Stephanie Schoss as a teaching assistant for a number of classes at the university and executive education level.

Erwartete Kompetenzen / Profil

  • Development and implementation of the Executive School transformation projects
  • Supporting the strategic development of the Executive School
  • Identification of unmet needs in the ExecEd market with regards to customer journeys, new content/programs and new formats (online, didactics, etc,) based on solid market research
  • Design, testing and initial development of new topics (customer journeys, new content, new formats) in close coordina-tion with the BUs - incubator for new topics
  • Building up and maintaining a network of corporate customers, partners, and stakeholders
  • Strategic collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordination and processing of requests submitted to the ES by internal or external stakeholders
  • Close coordination with communications and marketing to ensure that strategic issues are communicated appropriately within and outside the organization and that market intelligence is used in the strategic endeavors.
  • Close coordination with the BU heads to make sure that strategic issues of the BUs are integrated in the overall strategy and vice versa
