• Develop and implement scripts to scrape internal websites and extract information from so retreived files (pdf or image)
• Ensure accurate data extraction while maintaining data privacy and compliance with any relevant data protection standards
• Document the data extraction process and troubleshoot any

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Computer Science at the University of St.Gallen
• Strong programming skills, preferably with experience in web scraping
• Preferred experience with OCR, text parsing and data extraction tools and methods
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality

We are seeking a motivated Master’s student in Computer Science to support a SNF research project with automated data scraping and text extraction tasks. Hereby, the working hours are flexible and can be arranged upon agreement. You will be part of Prof. Beatrix Eugster’s team at the Swiss Institute for Empirical Economic Research (SEW-HSG).
