Doctoral Candidate and Research Associate in Marketing (m/w/d)

Core and main tasks

  • Conduct and collaborate on research projects related to the sustainable transformation of markets, brands and society (qualitative research in the Consumer Culture Theory tradition) 
  • Support teaching activities and the supervision of students at the University of St. Gallen 
  • Publication of research articles in leading marketing journals (e.g., Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing) 
  • Providing assistance on various ad hoc tasks, such as organizational or administrative matters 

Presentation of the organisational unit

  • A full-time research associate position (100%) according to University of St. Gallen (HSG) guidelines, with the opportunity to pursue a PhD at a leading European business school 
  • Close supervision and academic mentoring by Prof. Dr. Johanna Gollnhofer 
  • An intellectually stimulating research environment with strong international orientation 
  • A committed and supportive team at the IMC 
  • A competitive salary according to HSG regulations (approx. CHF 4,500 gross at 100%)
