We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to join our research group in the field of post-quantum cryptography (PQC). The successful candidate will work at the intersection of advanced cryptographic research and business/management-oriented communication, helping bridge the gap between technical innovation and real-world organizational needs.
This unique position combines theoretical and applied cryptography with strategic communication, project coordination, and technology management. It is ideally suited for candidates who want to conduct high-level scientific research while also contributing to the translation of PQC innovations into industry and policy contexts.
Your Responsibilities

- Develop prototypes, proofs of concept, or models related to PQC adoption
- Communicate research findings to diverse audiences (technical and non-technical)
- Support collaboration with industry partners, governmental bodies, and internal stakeholders
- Contribute to project planning, reporting, and dissemination activities
- Participate in teaching activities and supervise student assistants (if applicable)
- Publish results in leading international journals and conferences
We are looking for candidates with the following profile:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Security, or a related field
- Strong foundational knowledge in cryptography, ideally with exposure to PQC
- Interest or prior experience in business communication, project management, or technology policy
- Preferably a Master’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field
